Preview of the Music Recital

I will offer a Japanese & Okinawan Music Recital this Saturday. Please join us.

Jun Kubo (fue, flute) holds degrees from the Julliard School, the College-Conservatory of Music at University of Cinncinati, and New York University and has performed at major stages including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, and Satoka Nagano (Sanshin, singing) trained at the Nomura Ryu Ruykyu classical music school in Japan for more than 10 years, and has performed Sanshin at the National Theater in Okinawa, and other stages in Kamakura and Kawasaki, Japan will join me for the recital. 

We will introduce Japanese folk song "Yuyake Koyake", Ryukyuan classical song "Nakafu Bushi", Yaeyama minyo song "Tsundara Bushi" and Miyako minyo song "Tarama Shonkani" and many other folk songs of Islands of Japan.
